Auropet’ is headed by me in the capacity of Chief consultant and the Managing Director of the hospital. I am a Specialist small animal surgeon with immense experience and expertise  in soft tissue surgery that includes gastroenterology, urology,  gynecology,  surgical  oncology,  head  and  neck  surgery,  cosmetic  & reconstructive surgery. I had been intensely trained in Advanced Small Animal Orthopedics by the ‘AOVET’. As one of the few exponents of veterinary emergency and critical care in the state, I have been one of the most sought after specialist in companion animal practices across Tamil Nadu, My expertise makes me, the only small animal laparoscopic surgeon in south of INDIA.

Previously I had also the headed of the ‘Centre for Toxicology and Developmental Research, Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai, Not only do I bring with me, the rich clinical expertise but also have a very impressive research background too. I have guided twelve doctoral candidates as research adviser in various disciplines like head  and  neck  surgery,  hepatic  &  binary  surgery,  urology,  nephrology, orthopedics, neurosurgery and cardiac transplantation. I have received many accolades for my contributions in the field of translational medical research during my stint in the field of Laboratory Animal Medicine. An also the recipient of many grants from the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India for my research on a novel treatment protocols for heart failure and obesity associated hyperlipidernia.

I am currently the Executive Member of the Federation Of Small Animal Practices in India affiliated  to the World Small Animal Veterinary Association and also  the Treasurer of the Small Animal Practitioners Association of Chennai, I also continue to share my professional knowledge as a National Speaker in the capacity of a Specialist Small Animal Surgeon.
